  Amazing date spot. Great artists regularly here, food is very nice, atmosphere as nice and relaxed as you'd expect for a jazz club. Do try to get their early enough or reserve as about a 3rd of the seats don't get a good view.

  Definitely this jazz bar is awesome. When I walked in to the bat with my mom and sister, there was no seat. So we were told that we have to wait sitting at the bar, but when we had a chance to move to the empty table, a waiter just gave that table away to someone. And he didn't even check us so we just asked a lady to make sure if we can get moved. We felt like we were ignored! Except for that, everything was perfect. You guys should try steak, it was a big portion with reasonable price. And it tastes great. On top of that, jazz performance was amazing

  What an ironic name: the bar is downstairs, but the word “upstairs” is written upside down, which can interpreted as inverting its meaning.

  I had a great Friday evening here and I bet it's the same on the six other days of the week. A brilliant Jazz singer gave a performance with her band. Entrance fee was a bit over 10 CA$, which was definitely worth it. Drinks are reasonably priced. They also serve food and have tables as in a proper restaurant.

  You will meet great people and hear music that moves you at Upstairs (upside down). If jazz lives within you, this is the place you'll want to be. Find peace, happiness, and flavorful food here. Relative to my 5 years in Toronto, it's also very reasonably priced- and the music cover was a downright bargain at just $8 for some of the coolest live music I've experience in some time! Enjoy :)
