  I've been getting my hair cut, styled and colored by Alex for about a year now and I never leave disapointed! He's willing to listen to your concerns and works efficiently and brilliantly with your demands! Also super funny, our conversations are always very pleasant. I definitely recommend!

  Got an appointment with Alexander and I was beyond happy with the results. I've always left the salon bittersweet with previous hairstylist, never truly happy with the results and wanting to wash them back home. But he exactly knew and understood what I wanted. It was the first time I ever truly enjoyed a haircut! He knows what he's doing and truly listens to his clients.

  Went there on the 21st of February as a walk-in towards the end of the evening. Samia honestly was as welcoming to me as if I was the 1st client of the day. ~Very~ professional, ~super~ sweet and the service was excellent. I was looking to glam up my every day look and she delivered 1000000%. I'm ultra satisfied with the service. Would go there again.

  I have been going to Mat & Max in the Eaton Centre to see Alex for over two years now. Every time I walk in there I know I'm going to be well taken care of. Alex is very professional, he is full of knowledge & skill and always colours, cuts & styles my hair exactly the way I want it. Aside from his abilities as a stylist, Alex is very warm and welcoming; I always feel comfortable discussing what I like and don't like when it comes to my hair. I know I'm going to feel beautiful and refreshed after an appointment at Mat & Max. Highly recommend!

  I was sad when my favorite hairdresser left a couple years ago. I haven't been able to replace her. I tried other locations but always end up back here. Today I'm glad I did because Alex did an amazing job! I was nervous to try something new but glad I took the leap. I'm in love with my new do!
