  I visited the Renaud Bray bookstore at Complexe Desjardin with my daughter today. I have never encountered such abusive mistreatment by an employee in a store. The gentlemen who worked at the store screamed at my 4 year old daughter in French because she was “running” in the store. First of all, she was not running. It is a a very small store. She was walking very quickly after me. Secondly, she is a 4 year old who does not speak any French at all. She told him “I am with my mommy” and he raised his voice at her once again. At this time, my daughter burst into tears and later on we realized that she had urinated in her pants. This is how badly he frightened a 4 year old child who did not understand anything he was saying. I addressed my concerns with him and that his behavior was inappropriate and abusive. He did not apologize and began raising his voice. At that point, I did raise my voice because I felt attacked and had to defend myself and my daughter. Then he threatened to call security. I asked to speak to the management and he said he was management. If this is the type of employee that Renaud Bray considers management material, then they need to seriously revisit their employee practices. There is never a situation where a 4 year old should be made so scared in a bookstore by an employee of that store that she would cry so hard that she would pee her pants.

  Commande en ligne à éviter! Rapidité et service médiocre. J'ai commandé un DVD le 4 décembre, j'ai ensuite reçu une confirmation qui mentionnait 10 jours ouvrables de livraison plus quelques jours avec poste canada. Le courriel me mentionnait une livraison au plus tard le 23 décembre. On est le 27 décembre et je n'ai rien reçu. J'ai donc appelé au service à la clientèle et, surprise, ma commande est une commande spéciale de l’Europe avec 6 à 8 semaines de délais (jamais mentionné nul part). J'ai commandé d'autres dvd et cd sur archambault et 5 jours plus tard c'était dans ma boite aux lettres. Très déçu. merci, manuel
