  I have stayed at Best Westerns at least a dozen times in the past, and this last trip was hands down the worst experience. The staff were apologetic and professional, I will acknowledge this, but the room itself was unclean and noise level unacceptable. During showering, water pressure dropped so low that there was barely a trickle and I just stood there soapy until the water would turn back on. Upon inspection of the room, there was hair stuck in between bedsheets, on the toilet, on the floor and even bathroom counter top. Within a few seconds of entering the room, I could hear the elevator right next door and the loud elevator shaft switching and grinding gears, and being used by other guests. The floors rumbled and shook as the elevators were used, and I did call the front desk to ask to switch rooms right away. I asked for any room possible, even though I was in a room with two queen beds, I would take anything - even a single twin bed, but nothing else was available and as they put it, nothing could be done. I considered checking out, but I was reassured by the front desk staff that the noise level would die down soon, so I stayed. Unfortunately control of guests using elevators is not something the staff can do, and so that prediction of the elevator usage decreasing didn't happen. A restless night turned into a restless next day, and honestly I would have preferred that the staff credit me so that I could still have made the most out of a short trip to Montreal and maintain a good image of Best Western - I would not have minded looking for a new hotel for my one night stay, and being credited to spend a future night at a Best Western. I have known Best Westerns to have good service and cleanliness. But if this is the new standard for service at Best Western in 2018, it is creating an unpleasant image of staying here in the future.

  The staff was incredible pleasant. I arrived early and wanted my bags put aside while I went out but they were kind enough to check me in early. The hotel rooms look recently renovated and are quite spacious. I enjoyed my stay here.

  Amazing staff here, friendly, patient, polite, and a welcoming good morning, the rooms are beautiful and very clean, excellent service providing excellent heat if needed in the room a touch of a button and the room heats up quickly if to hot again a touch of a button and the room gets colder with air conditioning, restaurants within the hotel are great very good food and not that costly either☺️☺️ Just steps away from the outdoors and everything you could possibly want is within steps away from this beautiful newly renovated hotel. Everything i wanted this hotel met my expectations and more.....Superb work on behalf of the staff and receptionist. I was handed out brochures for activities to do with my son and everything was perfect.....with no hesitations I will be back to come here for sure! And the best yet 5 minute walk to the Bell Center. Why this hotel is only at 3 stars is beyond me i would give it 20 plus stars if i could so 5 stars is not even enough because this hotel deserves only the best ratings and stars possible ☺️☺️☺️

  Great stay. Right in the center of town. Parking available on the street. Awesome updated rooms and very comfortable beds. Staff is friendly and helpful. Stayed here twice in one week.

  Construction across the street seems to be an annual event. Noise from hallway and other rooms travel thru walls. Also the room close to the stairwell is no good for a complete night sleep. The bed is comfortable and staff are efficient and helpful. I received a map of the underground and one of the city which advertises local events and exhibitions which helps when planning how to spend days. The internet is quick and reliable.
